On Friday, May 30th Craig Silverstein hosted a panel and an exclusive screening at Google of the 1983 suspense film, WarGames, in honor of the 25th Anniversary DVD. The panelists included Walter Parkes (Academy Award Nominated Writer, Producer), Lawrence Lasker, (Academy Award Nominated Writer, Producer) and Peter Schwartz (Cofounder and Chairman, Global Business Network). The panelists gave Googlers a behind the scenes peek into the making of this film and its resulting legacy.

Tracking fingers with the Wii Remote

Using an IR led array and some reflective tape, you can track fingers in thin air using the Wii Remote by Johnny Chung Lee, Carnegie Mellon University. The grid software is a custom program written using a C# wiimote library and DirectX. More information about the grid software can be found at http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~johnny/projects/wii/

Mega64: California Games

The Mega64 crew in one of their most funniest skits.
Also one of the least seen videos due to the fact that it was released in a series of Mega64 dvd’s packed in issues of EGM back in 2005.
I don’t claim ownership of this video, I’m just doing the Mega64 guys a favor by showing the world one of their best skits and therefore, gain more viewers and fans for them.
They rock.
