Do you have specific plans for the glass or are you just hoarding stuff that seems useful for some future project?

his dome is in an undeveloped area, building codes are only required in residential areas or if you plan to live in the structure for more than 1/2 the year… anyway, there are tons of ways to avoid building permits and codes

    Does Vermont have building inspectors???

Here in Washington State, we can’t pour a foundation for a small tool shed without paperwork and government approval!

I know it’s going to last years and years, I just can’t believe they let you build a house and don’t even come check on you!

Farout!!! Are you going to use all that glass on the dome? You could make a nice green house with some. Do you have a glass cutter? Is it safety glass. You have to cut it differently. Well, good luck.

I think the dome is going to look pretty sweet with some glass in the front, more transparent than the old covering and lots of light reflected off the plywood back walls.

I was wondering where you sleep during the works on your dome. Aren’t you quite cold at night?

I love your place more every time I see it…I would love to be able to do something similar but we have code enforcement officers. I take it that is something you dont need to worry about.
