“The facts about how Global Warming isn’t really a valid concern and how humans have a very low carbon footprint compared to nature itself.”

that’s like saying a fat person weighs more than a skinny person. but how about when they both stand on the scale at the same time?

that’s what makes a person a “liberal greenie”.

John Stossel gives a good report on why global warming isn’t caused by humans or a threat at all.

I agree that Nye shows his opinions much more in this series. But re: global warming. I see this somewhat frequently. People state with seeming total confidence that global warming is not a threat and certainly not anthropogenic. I’m trying to find a good honest account of the evidence in both directions but I am finding it very difficult to escape the bias. Both sides of the argument have a lot to gain from certain interested parties, so I also cannot dismiss corruption. Can you direct me?

    True.

…Maybe he went along with whatever mainstream notion that was floating around, and went with Global Warming in the process.

Plus, he’s still not QUITE as bad as the mainstream hippies who don’t even TRY to learn science, they go to environmentalist hippie rallies and do la-la happy shit.

And yea. I agree. I probably has always been a liberal. He just never showed it. I just really never thought I’d see him become one of those who believes in Global Warming. But you’re probably right.

Hmm, and how has he not paid close attention to the facts in this video exactly?

Y’know he was probably always a liberal, but he definitely wouldn’t have been as popular on a kids show had he blabbed about his own opinion as much on this more adult-oriented show. Maybe now he’s just blunt.

Agreed, especially after seeing Stuff Happens for the first time today…

Bill Nye has sort of disappointed me by becoming a liberal greenie. I used to love Bill Nye the Science guy as a kid. I thought he was a smarter guy who would’ve really paid attention to the facts.

“Sand grains probably aren’t thinking to much…as far as we know.”

Heh, ever the scientist. Never say never, just in case geologists discover thinking sand tomorrow. lol
